We were already ecstatic at the news that Dark Entries was re-releasing three excellent wave LPs from the ’80s—now we get to give you a taste, too.

Shoc Corridor were an atmospheric post-punky wave group from London who crafted mutant music for the mind; odd and beautiful soundtracks for extra-dimensional unreleased movies. “Artificial Horizon” is taken from the upcoming remastered edition of Experiments In Incest, and it’s one of our favorites from the LP’s six cuts. The driving instrumental rhythms push the listener into a sense of urgency with a dreamlike sense of futurism, leading ecstasy and unease to creep into the ears.

The LP—along with reissues from Boytronic and Liquid G—is out September 19th, and fans of dark technoir and ’80s weirdness will find a lot to love in it.
