British ’80s dream boy Rick Astley voices some of the surest ego-striking words a girl would want to hear—evenwhile he trains his timbre to a bunch of different pitches. If your attention span can make it to the end of Astley’s track unshattered, you might almost believe all that he says, so please: don’t get into the nice guy trap and listen to the proper version. This audio experiment by Mario Klingemann is much better, because it rearranges the whole song in micro-cuts according to its pitch. Yes, that actually is better. Just don’t call it #post-vapor.
