Tour Berlin's Jazzanova Recording Studio with Hannes Bieger

Ever wondered about the Berlin studio that hosted live sessions from both Max Graef and Howling in two recent Slices videos on EB.TV? A new piece from Tech Talk alum Hannes Bieger offers a glimpse into the history and technical set-up of JRS, a recording studio founded in 2013 by Axel Reinemer. In addition to working as a recording and mixing engineer and producer, Reinemer was a key member of the Jazzanova collective, together with Stefan Leisering. He established JRS (Jazzanova Recording Studio) in what was once a monitor center operated by the East German intelligence agency and secret police before the fall of the Wall. Find out more here.
