Modular synths are usually very pricey and heavy machines and it takes a lot of dedication to build a setup that suits you. If you don’t want to shell out that much money—or if you don’t have the space for a full eurorack setup—Softube might be a convenient solution. The software emulates a modular system and you can get patching right from your couch. It will be available from May 11 and costs 99$.
