Goldie is the kind of charismatic guy who can sit down in front of a microphone and riff on just about any topic. Case in point: this classic interview from 1992 in which the UK drum and bass guru talks graffiti, tunnel turf wars and street art heroes.

Recently another awesome interview with Goldie has resurfaced that takes place after Pleasure Force in Toronto. Joined by DJ Phantasy and a slew of other hardcore proponents like Freebase and DJ Reality, Goldie talks about the difference between the UK and American scenes, what has kept UK hardcore alive and also the unspoken rules of sampling other people’s jams.
