Another taste from Peaches’ new album has arrived in the form of a funny video for the single “Close Up” The clip stars Peaches as a wrestler under the tutelage of Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, who coaches the electro-punk rapper through several rounds of a Lucha Libre-meets-glam-rock-meets-drag fight. Punchy drums ricochet around low-slung bass notes and Peaches’ bedroom talk as a man smears what appears to be a comic representation of poop across her upper lip. Divine kept it real.
