Will iPads Replace Effects Pedals?
Short answer: nah, don’t be gross. But with tablet devices becoming more ubiquitous every day and people getting mad lazy on the reg, it seems likely that many traveling musicians could make the switch from clunky, heavy-duty gear to slimlined iGadgets that shatter into a million pieces as soon as you look at them funny. That’s the Remofinger up there, a new iPad foot controller from WIFO that allows you to change your iPedal settings to the perfect iPitch. It’s, you know…neat. But it’s no Gristleizer or anything. Plus you can mod out your old pedals into basically anything. I made mine into an iPhone case.
