The Human Sized Synthesizer is a ridiculously big piece of gear—but it’s still playable.
You can’t pick this one up anywhere. The massive installation is a collaboration between Red Bull Music Academy and KORG based around the tech company’s original MS10 and MS2020 synthesizers, and exists seemingly to be a giant social experiment, which is neat—particularly because it’s actually playable.
The massive brute contains a step sequencer drum machine, a keyboard and an X-Y effects unit. Watch it in action above. If giant synths are your vibe, the first digital one was a cosmic beast.
