Hinge Finger start new label with Madteo

Hinge Finger, the new label run by producer Joy Orbison and designer Will Bankhead (The Trilogy Tapes), is finally here: the imprint has just released its first record by New York City based Madteo. The first copies of Matteo Ruzzon‘s ‘Bugler Gold Pt.1’ 12″ EP – a four track fusion of hypnotic house, techno with hip hop elements – are now stocked at Honest Jon’s, Hardwax and Rubadub.

Having previously released on Meakusma, Workshop and Lanquid Music, Madteo now extends his deep house experiments similar to the likes of Kassem Mosse to Hinge Finger. Besides the debut for Bankhead & Orbison, Madteo has his new single ‘ReCast’ coming on Meakusma soon, featuring remixes by Gunnar ‘Kassem Mosse’ Wendel, Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir, and Marcellus Pittman.
