Cat People

Cat People create synth-sparkling, grime-house for the club, or the soundsystem in your jeep when you are cruising through the Saturn desert. As a DJ team they stack rhythms like Lego bricks, breaking club music down to its rawest elements and then rebuilding them into new forms. It’s the same reckless attitude of early grime they apply when remixing tracks, flipping them into a whole new context. Built on off-the-wall heavy bass, with an ear for taste.

Originally coming from opposite german cities – Berlin in the north and Munich in the south – both always had a thing for bass-driven club music; one for techno and house and the other for dubstep and grime. As soon as they moved to the same town Cat People was born and they found a sound that handles all those elements the love in a futuristic house.
