CEO of one of the most important international Baile Funk Record Labels: Man Records, Haaksman’s sound is as sophisticated and complex as it can get. Mixing all kinds of rhythmic influences with futuristic synthezisers and cut up vocals he demonstrates all of this and more on his recent debut-album “Rambazamba”.

African bongos and kalimbas, Rio de Janeiro’s 70s disco trumpets, Portuguese jazz influences, and much more. His taste, sets, even production hark back to the sunny spots where the roots of Baile Funk were born. From there he takes us on a trip to new and innovative soundscapes via some serious dance-floor burners.
