We keep reaching out for great music. In case of Desto great music comes from Helsinki, where young Desto started getting into music in the year of 93 with a tracker software and his early influences by the likes of Kraftwerk, Commodore 64 game soundtracks and later UK electronic music at large. Working on his hobby, Desto not only managed to make it a full-fledged career but transformed his humble beginnings into an amazing mixture of dubstep, hiphop, 2-step garage, jungle, 90s Warp label music and of course his beloved computer game sounds.
Since 2008, Desto has released 12“ singles and EPs on notorious labels as Ramp Recordings and Noppa and gained critical acclaim and support from DJs like Blackdown and Oneman.

Today Desto runs a bass music night called „Slam It“ in Helsinki alongside his fellow DJ mates Dead-O and Tes La Rok and has his own show on the Finnish radio station Basso Radio.

Always on the run, Desto has played DJ sets from Bristol to New York, from Shanghai to Barcelona and has now delivered an exclusive mix for Electronic Beats, mixing yet unreleased material with some of his favorite tracks of the moment.
