Keinemusik - A label like a machine

Keinemusik is not your average record label. If they release a 12” everything is handmade. It doesn't matter if it´s the artwork, the stamp or the packaging: an extra dose of love is inside every record. The question is why should someone else do the dirty work if you could do it just as well on your own? The imprint is a DIY organization, not just because it's more interesting or nostalgic, but because it is just the way it feels right for all those involved.

Everything they do can be followed on keinemusik.com right in time and in two languages. It's all about the idea behind a collective, which doesn't mean they are not serious. Some of them are bringing back the elegance and the sex appeal to the business, others mixing records together to entertain people. Some are well-rounded multi-media artists, and others are hanging at editorial offices. In conclusion the Keinemusik guys don't need to be too serious, to be taken seriously.
