It seems like everyone has already caught it, but who are Lazer Sword?

They are Bryant Rutledge (Low Limit) and Antaeus Roy (Lando Kal) who first gained attention with their live shows and deep, dubby bootlegs. They wrote and recorded their self-titled debut in their former San Francisco hood before Rutledge moved to Los Angeles and Roy to Berlin.

The style of the album is based on electro-funk, vocoder samples, rap, skittering percussions, UK funky influences, swirling synths and glitchy sounds. It´s no wonder they have guest appearances by the likes of Antipop Consortium’s M. Sayyid, Freestyle Fellowship’s Myka 9, Zackey Force Funk and Turf Talk.
They are producers who are disolving genres to create something totally fresh.

2011 singles included The Golden Handshake EP for Numbers and just been signed by Monkeytown to drop their second LP in spring 2012
