The Time And Space Machine - Activism for children of the sun

The Grid founder Richard D. Norris has been busy creating psychedelic edits of forgotten pearls and remixes for artists like The Chemical Brothers and Franz Ferdinand as Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve together with Erol Alkan for the last few years. With the release of Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve Re-Animations Vol. 1 in 2009 it was time for both Norris and Alkan to focus on their solo projects again. Norris started working on the debut album for his The Time and Space Machine project, processing his imprint into Psychedelia 2.0 and bringing together rare vintage sound design with today’s production tools.

In his mix for Electronic Beats Radio, Norris has compiled some gaudy fruits with a shiny creme. You may look forward to a unique compilation of tracks that once formed a special facet of music history and that you won’t ever find in someone else’s playlist nor hear on one of the 14 arena’s of your favourite dance festival. Enjoy this special trip, but please don’t blame us for troubles with your buddies because you are heading up for Woodstock instead of visiting your clique’s favourite rave.
