Trickski - Creating their own microcosm of music: Trickski‘s „Unreality“

Trickski is the collaboration of two producers and DJs - Yannick Labbé and Daniel Becker. Originally from Freiburg in the black forest area, for 10 years they’ve had their homebase in Berlin. They released their debut album Unreality earlier this year on Suol, a distinctive young label that hit the charts with its first release – Fritz Kalkbrenner’s “Here today Gone Tomorrow”. Very different from their previous EPs on Compost Records and Sonar Kollektiv, they have moved from Nu-Jazz to a rough and funky sound, their repetitive grooves culminate in thrilling climaxes. To them, Unreality describes the atmosphere in a club that creates a special microcosm, an anti-world to everyday life.
