Zombie Disco Squad - The Witch Doctors of house

Lucas Hunter & Nat Self make up the production duo Zombie Disco Squad. Having started with regular mixtapes on the web in 2006, Zombie Disco Squad gained special interest for their track Straight Boy being downloaded 10.000 times.

Influenced by Baile Funk, Baltimore Bass, African grooves, jacking rhythms and unsung languages, Zombie Disco Squad emphasize the tribal side of house music with a certain fondness for rhythm, groove and lead instruments that play simple melodies.

In an inter-linked world it did not take much time until radio hosts, DJs, clubs and labels paid attention to the duo’s output. Already having played in the biggest clubs around the world, in 2009 Zombie Disco Squad were asked to rework tracks from the likes of Erik Hassle, Drop The Lime, Kasper Bjorke, Jesse Rose and Uffie.
