This App Recommends Headphones Based On Your Favorite Music

Can an algorithm help you achieve hi-fi nirvana?

Headphone maker AIAIAI has just revealed a new technology designed to help you choose the perfect pair of cans. The company has teamed with Spotify to create the TMA-2 Discover tool which analyzes your Spotify listening habits—through the Discover Weekly feature—to recommend custom parts for AIAIAI’s modular TMA-2 headphone system.

No matter whether you prefer booming techno or more subtle ambient, there’s an algorithmically designed pair of headphones out there just waiting for you. For the full scoop, check out Engadget’s story here.
