eBay tends to be a home for the pretty conventional and the seriously strange, but sometimes a post comes along that floors you with a mixture of admiration and envy. Enter stage right: a mint condition Vestax VRX-2000 Vinyl Recorder. Extremely rare at the best of times, the VRX-2000 can write vinyl for dubplates (if you don’t live near this place in Peckham, of course), one-off records, scratch records, bootlegs and promos.
There are still a few days to go for bidding, but the VRX-2000 is already fetching bids of £2000—to be paid in cash up-front, of course.
