Documenting London's Legendary Pirate Radio Legacy

Rinse FM is a London institution that has for well over a decade been the fulcrum of pushing grime, dubstep and house music not only to those within its radio frequency, but to the world at large. Just this week, the station released the second edition of Born and Bred, a new documentary series tracking the history and influence of pirate radio on London (and UK) culture. It traces the pioneers  there from the very beginning, returning to the old towers where they would pirate for the greatest frequency range that they could possibly cover. It’s essential viewing for those who are fed up with traditional industry streams of music, and want to push culture through new forms.
