Experience Cuba's Vibrant Rave Culture In Virtual Reality

A director is bringing Cuban party culture to the world.

With the announcement that Boiler Room will launch its own virtual reality venue, the potential now exists for music enthusiasts to submerge themselves into some of the most unique cultural spaces around the world. Director Fifer Garbesi is definitely tapping into these new possibilities. She is combining new technologies with her passion for the vibrant rave culture of Cuba to produce a VR film about the country’s electronic music scene. The immersive film will showcase the intensity of Cuban nightlife which fuses electronic music with traditional percussion and where dancing—not Snapchatting—is at a premium.
