Ghostly International's New Instrument Is A Weird African Box
The techno label’s latest boutique instrument is a satisfyingly minimalistic custom looper.
Though you might know it as a techno and house label, Ghostly International also releases its fair share of boutique hardware. Case in point is this cool little box called “Ghostly Zoots.” A collaboration with Brooklyn-based workshop Brandnewnoise, it updates the classic African thumb piano design by incorporating looping and pitch-shifting mechanisms.
