Gorillaz Will Release ‘Humanz’ As A 14-Disc Vinyl Box Set

The absurdly lush box set is set to drop August 25.

Yesterday we reported that 14 new Gorillaz songs had mysteriously appeared on the internet over the weekend. The registered list of tracks kickstarted rumors that the new songs would make up the “Super Deluxe” version of Humanz that had appeared earlier on the band’s website. It appears that this rumor has now been confirmed.

The box set presents Humanz across 14 individual pieces of 12” colored vinyl. Each record features an album track and an exclusive alternate version on a unique vinyl color, and to boot, each 12″ is also packaged its own individually designed sleeve. The collection is ensconced in a single beautiful case and features a 54-page hardback book of Gorillaz artwork by Jamie Hewlett. Diehard fans can own this incredible collection when it drops on August 25 for the somewhat anxiety-inducing price of €319.99.
