Helena Hauff's Early Tracks To Be Released On Vinyl

Dark Entries will release the German artist’s early tape works on double vinyl.

Dark Entries has announced the release of A Tape, a double vinyl of early works by Golden Pudel resident and up-and-coming DJ Helena Hauff. Hauff, who first came to international prominence via Actress’ Werkdiscs, is one of the scene’s leading exponents of electro, and is famed for her mind-bending DJ sets that weave between new wave and EBM. The 50-minute double LP collects tracks that she recorded between 2011 and 2014, all of which were originally released on the cassette label Handmade Birds. A Tape‘s proclivity for industrial dissonance, jacking 808 rhythm tracks and Kraut-inspired jams is incredibly representative of Hauff’s penchant for darker, less conventional electronic sounds.
