Trent Reznor, Richard Devine and more use these highly unusual, reimagined vintage synthesizers.
Engineer and sound designer Ivo Ivanov has breathed new life into a series of vintage instruments. He gave them stunning visual makeovers—his 60 hand-painted synthesizers are adorned with bright, geometric designs—and modified their internal wiring. Each machine makes bizarre, circuit-bent noises that Ivanov himself archived in his online glitch sample libraries.
