The well-documented vinyl resurgence is underway. Yet the format’s rediscovered popularity has arrived with a number of problems. Vinyl pressing plants are currently unable to handle demand, and it’s been almost a generation since the industry last updated its technology.

Luckily, some businesses have taken note. New pressing plants are opening up around the world. But more importantly, engineers are working on ways to make the whole process more streamlined.
