This Is What It's Like To Go To A Virtual Reality Club

Virtual reality clubbing isn’t the future, it’s already here.

Club culture is thriving, and the technology around it is advancing at an incredible rate. Case in point: Virtual clubbing has just moved from the freak fringe of Second Life to the mainstream underground of Boiler Room. The global media property has been working hard to fuse the club experience with the now available immersive tech offered by conventional virtual reality headsets.

The company recently pulled off a stunt in which people could remotely “club” at a venue in Berlin. The goal is apparently to provide an experience that’s, “accessible for people who might not be a part of the easyJet-set creative class.” Sounds good. But what is it like?
