Listen To Vatican Shadow’s Debut On Berghain’s Ostgut Ton

Dominic Fernow’s techno alias offers three new deep and dark cuts. 

Vatican Shadow, the beat-oriented side-project of Prurient‘s Dominic Fernow, has a new 12-inch coming out on Berlin’s hallowed Ostgut Ton label this May. Rubbish Of The Floodwaters continues Fernow’s recent affinity for sombre, atmospheric and powerful dance floor bangers. While the artist’s efforts under the alias have historically been cast in more industrial hues, the three tracks on Rubbish Of The Floodwaters are more subtly crafted techno cuts than his typical ear-piercing fare. His debut on the label further cements a move into dance music that began with the producer’s acclaimed Kneel Before Religious Icons in 2011. Check out the tracklist and preview the clips below.
