The legendary producer is back for his next in-depth look at his all-time favourite synthesizers.

After exploring some incredible synths from Roland and Yamaha in recent episodes of our “Synthesizer Favourites” series, our in-house synth guru Mathew Jonson now turns his attention to one of the most revered analog synths from Sequential Circuits.

The Sequential Pro One is an undisputed classic. Released in 1981, the synth’s powerful oscillators, celebrated lowpass filter and awesome range of modulation possibilities makes it one of the most widely sought-after monosynths to this day. Over the course of the video, Jonson flexes the synth’s capabilities, proving the Pro One’s ability to sound both lush and melodic and harsh and industrial.
