Pro-Ject Is Offering An Awesome New Line Of Affordable Turntables

FlexiRange is debuting five designs with a range of high quality features.

Retailing at under €300, the Pro-Ject Essential III turntable is one of the most highly regarded turntable designs at such an extremely affordable price. The company has now built upon the turntable’s impressive design features as part of a new FlexiRange of five record players. Each boasts Ortofon OM 10 cartridges, MDF plinths and platters and aluminum tonearms from the original Essential III, as well as a range of new features that vary depending on users’ specific listening needs.

The fist offering—the Essential III Phono—comes with a built-in phono amp for record junkies without a standalone amplifier. Or, if you’re someone who likes to connect to Bluetooth speakers or headphones, the Essential III Bluetooth can stream vinyl directly to any device. The Essential III Digital, meanwhile, comes with a 24bit/96kHz optical output designed for playing vinyl through a digital-to-analogue convertor, and the Essential III RecordMaster sports a USB output that lets listeners rip records directly to a computer—plus a built-in 33-to-45rpm speed switch.

The five new turntables will all be available at the end of the month and will retail at €359, €399, €399, €399 and €450 respectively. Check out the Pro-Ject Audio website for more details and purchasing info.
