Sony Turns Your Dance Moves Into Music With Amazing New Wristband

Motion Sonic Project is the Japanese manufacturer’s latest experiment.

Sony has revealed an experimental new wristband that turns movement into music. Unveiled at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, TX the wristband which is part of the company’s Motion Sonic Project has an array of microphones and sensors that record the rotation and acceleration of your arms and legs. The device even uses the movement of air around your body to allow your to apply sound filters and other audio-manipulation presets. Check out the stunning video below.
