Gerd Janson and Lauer have announced the details of Adolescent, their first LP together as Tuff City Kids.

Over the past two years, Frankfurt-based DJ duo Tuff City Kids have caused quite a stir in clubs around the world thanks to their fun and nostalgic take on house music. That’s no wonder as the outfit consists of ace selectors Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer. Now they’re back, and they’re releasing their first LP together. Titled Adolescent, it’s a wide-ranging document that assembles all the diverse elements that makes the Tuff City Kids sound so appealing—bombastic ’90s breakbeats, ’80s disco basslines, classic Chicago house aesthetics and a wide sampling from dance music’s tasteful corners. It notably features a full range of collaborators that include Annie, Joe Goddard and Kelley Polar.

The record will be released by Permanent Vacation on October 14. While you wait you can stream “Labyrinth ft. Annie (Club mix)”, which has already been making the rounds on the European festival circuit. Check below for the tracklist.
