Stream a Legowelt Ambient Album
Man of many aliases Danny Wolfers (AKA Legowelt) has uploaded an album of “nordic ambient and dark melancholia” that finds him channeling the spirit of Saab Knutson of the Faroe Islands. “To stay of sound mind, Saab plays his synthesizers in the few spare hours he manages to find, unmistakenly influenced by Faroe’s spellbinding landscapes and grim climate,” reads an accompanying blurb on Bandcamp. Recorded “circa 1993,” the 13-track LP utilizes a Yamaha DX100, Roland JX3P, Alpha Juno 2 and EMU 16-bit digital sampling keyboard and can be streamed in full below.
