There's A New Club Opening Right In The Heart Of Berlin

From Saturday September 30, Berlin will be home to another club. But here’s a spoiler: it won’t play techno.

A new venue is set to become part of Berlin’s already-vibrant club landscape. Set right at the heart of Berlin’s bustling Friedrichstrasse, Father Graham wants to bridge “the party-hungry east and the new-city west” with a music policy ranging from “modern beats” to jazz, funk and soul played by DJs and full-piece live bands.

The 700m² space includes a 300-500 capacity indoor room and two courtyards that can add an additional 600-900 guests. Another cool feature of the club is its modularity: each adjoining space can be separated and reassembled in order to meet individual event requirements.

To celebrate the opening of the club, founding Jazzanova member DJ Alexander Barck put together a one hour “Father Graham Door Opener Mix”, a swinging slice of soul, funk and jazz obscurities to get you loosened up for the big night.  Check it out below. To find out about upcoming shows check out the Father Graham website and Facebook.
