This Video Makes Raving In Moscow Look Like The Best Thing Ever

Watch a twisted love letter to the Moscow underground.

The Russian techno scene is bubbling up, and nowhere is that more true than in Moscow. The underground coalesces around venues like Rabiza and the now sadly defunct Arma17. It can all be a little clandestine, but every now and then something comes along that manages to showcase what makes the city’s scene so special.

Case in point is this short music video for Philip Gorbachev’s “5th New Century”. Taken off his Unlock The Box album, the tune’s twisted rave stabs and disembodied vocals provide the perfect complement to the video’s narcotic slow-mo shots of Rabiza and various squats. Watch it below.
