The amount of artists that Gorillaz has sampled is both huge and fascinating. This video manages to identify all of the forgotten drum hits and soul licks that the animated supergroup has used from its beginnings in 2001 right up to the release of this year’s Humanz.
The list of artists includes the expected beats and breaks plus a whole host of more creative samples from the likes of comedian Steve Martin.
