Watch A Guy Drink A Vinyl Milkshake Because Of Kendrick Lamar
The Redditor lost a bet over a rumored Kendrick Lamar Easter Sunday record release—and paid the price.
Easter Sunday was a bad day for Reddit user “/u/CousinTyrone”. Not only did his fan theory that a second Kendrick Lamar record would drop on Easter Sunday prove to be completely untrue, but the music-deprived Lamar fan had to drink a vinyl milkshake because of it.
Lamar released DAMN. on Easter Friday (April 14), his first record since 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly. Fans soon started circulating rumors that the hip-hop artist was due to release a second record on Easter Sunday. Either because of some (false) insider knowledge, or just naive optimism, Reddit user “/u/CousinTyrone” placed a very public bet on the discussion website: that he would eat his vinyl copy of Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City if the second album didn’t drop as he had anticipated.
Of course, Sunday came and went without a peep from Lamar, and so instead of listening to new heat from the LA rapper, Tyrone had to settle for digesting a horrific looking mix of ice cream and wax. Watch it below, and grab a copy of DAMN. here.
