Super Mario Bros. creator Shigeru Miyamoto joined The Roots to jam on his series’ epic theme song.

Few melodies in the history of music are as iconic as the Super Mario Bros. theme song. The genius behind the concept is Shigeru Miyamoto. And if you’ve been paying attention at all, you know that he’s in the US right now promoting Super Mario Run, his first game for iPhone.
