How Wendy Carlos' Film Scores Changed Electronic Music Forever

Electronic music would not be the same without Wendy Carlos work on these Stanley Kubrick classics.

Two of our favorite movies of all time are Stanley Kubrick’s classics A Clockwork Orange and The Shining. And while we love many things about those films, one of the things that keeps us coming back are their excellent scores, both of which were created by electronic music pioneer Wendy Carlos. These works are absolutely essential to the history of electronic music.
