You Need This Tiny Cassette Player In Your Life Right Now

Take your grainy tape hiss to go, again.

With cassette sales jumping a staggering 74% in 2016, there’s a good chance you’re buying more tapes than you have in a very long time (if ever). But do you have the right technology to bring your analog music addiction into the 21st century? Your tapes might still be there, but that busted walkman may have seen better days.

Enter the ELBOW: a remarkably tiny portable cassette player that will have you rocking tapes on the go once again. It uses a single pully to drive the tape and an optical sensor  to track playback rate and tape speed.

Its convenient wheel interface lets you change playback speed, fast-forward and change the direction of play. It also boasts a standard headphone jack as well as a mini-USB port that can be used to transfer audio from cassette to the computer. Think of it as analog-futurism. Learn more about the ELBOW here.
