Tobias Oliver has Obsessions

Though Tobias Oliver was born in Germany, we Austrians like to claim him as a Viennese artist. One of the finest techno producers and DJs around, the man with the two first names has lived in Vienna for nearly 15 years. But, we have to admit, there’s a history when it comes to arguing about the nationality of historical figures… Mozart and Hitler to name just two very different sorts.

But to hell with borders and nationalism. Tobias Oliver, whom you may already know as one third of the project DATAWELT, produced two great techno tracks (even though he prefers to call it dark disco) which you should not miss. Pressed on a 12” of black gold (and of course digitally released as well) ‘Obsession’ and ‘Out of Space’ will be available on December, 2nd, 2011 on SUPERDISKO, the label he also founded.

What a fantastic reason to celebrate.
