Tokimonsta readies her Brainfeeder debut

Tokimonsta is an artist who has long been associated with Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder camp so it comes as quite a surprise to learn her forthcoming EP with the label is in fact her first solo release on Brainfeeder.

The EP, titled Creatures Dreams, is a seven track mini-album, which takes a look through Tokimonsta’s darkest hours. Apparently, most of her music is made between two and seven in the morning, at time when her “mind works in strange and mysterious ways.”

The EP is a classic piece of Tokimonsta, blending elements of soul, hip-hop, boogie, bass and wobble. If any of you got her Midnight Menu album earlier last year, you will be as excited as we at the prospect of her Brainfeeder debut.
