Venetian Snares explore cubist reggae

Venetian Snares, the no compromises IDM /breakbeat/drum & bass alter ego of Aaron Funk is to release an EP entitled Cubist Reggae on Planet Mu.

Best known for his ultra high tempo sonic assaults, this latest release could not be any more different. As the name suggests there are some seriously skanking grooves on display, and whilst the four tracks are low in tempo they have enough bleeps, squeaks and pervasive dub atmospherics to make for a much more reflective listening experience than you would expect from the man who made this;
