Watch Grimes sporting headphones in new ‘Oblivion’ music video

Claire Boucher‘s music is not really fitting for mega events. The artist better known as Grimes just released her new music video for ‘Oblivion’ (off the album Visions), and it seems as if she was playing the self-irony card with this Emily Kai Bock directed clip.

Shot on location at football games, a motorbike rally, and locker rooms the video shows Grimes dancing and singing along to her dreamy synth pop song while everyone else is having a hell of a time at their respective sports events. We sure agree that ‘Oblivion’ is an unresistably great song, but it’s no stadium rock either. Watch the clip for ‘Oblivion’ below:
