Solid Blake

Scottish-born, Copenhagen based producer and DJ of smashing electro music

Based in Copenhagen but originally from Glasgow, Solid Blake (a.k.a. Emma Blake) has a keen ear for electro and techno. She got her start as a part of the now-defunct Danish Apeiron Crew alongside Smokey, Courtesy and Mama Snake.

Solid Blake’s unique approach to dance music production can be heard on her releases for Modeselektor’s Monkeytown imprint and Glasgow-based label Outer Zone. As a DJ she’s a force, and her sets regularly light up the dance floors at Berghain in Berlin, Culture Box in Copenhagen and De School in Amsterdam.
