Dandi Wind releases new tracks

Dandi Wind releases new tracks Dandilion Wind Opaine is best known for her dark disco project Fan Death, but it’s her earlier work with the monstrous electropunk project Dandi Wind that makes us hot. Famed for their elaborate costumes and intense, dangerous, and incredibly sweaty live shows, the Canadian group create something that, once seen, is never forgotten. It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything from them, but now three new tracks have been dropped into the main. While they don’t quite hit the levels of raw, biting fury that dominated their 2005 album Concrete Igloo, the funky, punky throb of the synths and the tense vocals are undeniably Dandi. We’re hoping this sudden reappearance means that another new album is on the horizon. Stream and download ‘Peripheral Visions’ and ‘The Urge’ below, and check her soundcloud for more.
