Discover The Edge of the dancefloor

Discover The Edge of the dancefloor Lately Budapest’s music scene welcomes an apetite for cooperation and the will to create new, underground community platforms which the city lacks. The crew behind recently-launched Budapest studio of international online radio network Rts.fm teamed up with enthusiastic local djs to put together a refreshing collaboration called The Edge. Started as an open-minded forum of progressive and edgy techno music the project is comprised of various acclaimed collectives like Plug & Lay (Peter Bernath) as well as IKZ (Crimson & Chrom) and Lidokain Klub (DJ Naga). „The Edge is about cooperation, community, eachother’s respect and love of electronic music” says RoyalVic, founder of Rts.fm’s new Budapest studio. Rts.fm broadcasts live audiovisual streams from 13 studios of the network around the world.

Along with open minded attitude and a strong belief in the need for building up a local community, focusing on talented new producers is an essential statement of The Edge team. “There are some potential stars. We would like to offer a possibility for their proper introduction.” says Crimson from the IKZ duo. “This is a club night giving an alternative for a more open attitude, and we hope this creates a community and a positive vibe in the scene.” explains DJ Naga.

The first installment of The Edge started last week at Fabrik Art Café with renowned Technokunst-founder Isu, Plug & Lay member Peter Bernath, Andras Toth and debuting new talent Yngoma.
