EB Listening: Bobby Champs’ Drag Queen

Brighton’s Bobby Champs doesn’t mess around. His debut Moonlight EP specialised in brash, rough-around-the-edges-house which appealed directly to the pleasure principle. Follow up EP Drag Queen, released via Pictures Music (who include the likes of Lapalux and Rudi Zygadlo on their roster) teases his big room sound in a slightly odder direction, while maintaining the kinetic strut of his debut.
