Kraut Rock festival in Berlin

POLYHYMNIA is the name of a two day festival that takes place in Berlin later this month – 18th-19th March.

Focusing on the motorik Krautrock beat in all manner of different guises and some kosmiche and progressive thrown in for good measure, the festival features a hand picked selection of Electronic Beats favorites. The acts playing include Von Spar, Goblin, Antoni Maiovvi and Zirkon – a new band that features Milo Smee of Chrome Hoof fame and ex-Stereolab man Joe Dilworth.

Taking place in Berlin’s massive Maria club the festival also features a whole host of DJ’s, and an additional ‘Zodiac Day’ (at Halesches Ufer) on March 20th with documentaries, a record fair and even more bands.
