LiL JaBBA on the tracks

Alexander Shaw is a busy guy. The Baltimore jukemaster, aka LiL JaBBA, is turning out tracks like they’re his bitches, but there’s plenty of care lavished on them. ‘CaVeRN’ is a complex and rollicking bouncer, elemental electronics and mysterious echoey wind instrumentals making for a subterranean footwork banger. His latest track ‘ViSiOnS’ is even more thoughtful, floating through the ether of liquified hooks and a chopped vocal sample.
